Bleaching cream - Recipe for skin, face, body bleaching cream

"Bleaching cream" is a generic term for topically applied cream that contains a chemical called hydroquinone .

Bleaching cream - Recipe for skin, face, body bleaching cream

Hydroquinones lighten skin because they retard pigment production through oxidization of the skin's pigment cells.

Hydroquinones are the most widely prescribed medication sold in the United States for lightening skin discoloration. They are also available over the counter in lower strengths.

Hydroquinones are best used as part of a skin-lightening regimen. Applied alone, even prescription-strength hydroquinones do not usually work well enough to lighten spots significantly.

Further, sun exposure often causes the lightened area to darken again. Consequently, dermatologists often use superficial chemical peels with either glycolic or salicylic acids that allow hydroquinones to better penetrate the skin and make them more effective.

Dermatologists also use Retin-A, the antiwrinkle cream Renova, and Azelex cream in combination with hydroquinones in order to bring about a more complete lightening that can blend seamlessly into the natural complexion of the skin. One prescription hydroquinone cream contains an added hint of glycolic acid to boost its efficacy.

With the help of a dermatologist, the right formula of hydroquinone can be found that will prevent possible skin irritation. Darkening, rather than lightening, of the skin can occur in darker-skinned people.

Because of these risks, hydroquinones should be used in small amounts, and only under the care of a dermatologist.

Evening Glamour
Tips on making your evening glamorous

Evening looks work best when one feature is emphasized. For example, the eyes have been emphasized while a neutral shade flatters the lips. In make-up, the one-feature rule means highlighting one facial feature and leaving the remaining subdued.

For most of us, evening is a time to experiment with our beauty. We are not governed by those invisible constraints to look professional or understated, that seem to exits during the day. Don't ask me why this is - I'm still trying to work it out myself. I suggest, however, you simply enjoy it.

The hallmark of evening make-up is drama. Not that there is a difference between drams and trying too hard: putting every make-up product you own on your face will not create drama, it will just make you look like you are wearing every makeup product you own. For some of us, drama means creativity (an arty application of eyeliner); for others, it means seductiveness (smouldering lip color), or boldness (glittery orange, yellow and green eye shadow), or trendiness (the latest fuchsia blusher). Regardless of what drama means to you, the most effective way to create it is to practice the one-feat
ure rule. By accentuating a single feature, you will guarantee that whatever look you create appears planned and gorgeous rather than like something you haphazardly what to do with your face. Focusing on a feature for evening glamour

Concentrating color on one feature also ensures that you will look glamorous instead of tacky, which often happens to a face when there is too much going on. To create your own evening look using the one-feature rule, choose a feature you want to emphasize: your eyes, cheeks or lips. Prepare your skin as you would normally
- whether that be with foundation, concealer, or both and dusting of face powder. Next, concentrate your most attention-grabbing color - whether dark or bright
- on the chosen feature, downplaying the remaining facial features with neutral colours or no make-up at all. See how great you look?

Indian Bridal Make up Tips and Application

A bride should be beautiful and not overdone. It is love that makes her beautiful and not the makeup artist. She's the star and has to look like a dream, her face translucent, soft and glowing. Never forget that a compact powder and lipstick must always be carried by a relative for a quick touch up

A day before the wedding the palm and feet of the bride are decorated with "henna", in the mehandi ceremony. A canopy or mandapa decorated with flowers is erected at the place of wedding. On the wedding day the bride and groom are anointed with turmeric in their respective homes.

+Apply translucent powder with a pinkish undertone and spread evenly all over the face to obtain a matte effect, paying careful attention to the forehead, nose and chin. Check the front and profile of your face, as they are equally important.

The eyes are always very important, as they are a reflection of the soul. They are the focus of the face. Use a brown eyeshadow for softness and white makeup to lift. Apply a dark tone at the outer corner of the eyes and blend with white to make grey. White and black make-up is the safest to use, as almost anyone can carry it off.

Always concentrate on the mouth, before the cheeks to give the intensity of the face. Use a contour lipstick to define the lips in the same harmony as the lipstick. Use a long lasting product and color lip in full.

What is Mineral Makeup and Why is it Popular?

Mineral Makeup and Why is it Popular... components are micronized titanium dioxide, micronized zinc oxide, iron oxide, silk mica, hydrated silica.,

What is Mineral Makeup and Why is it Popular?
From mall makeovers to infomercials, mineral makeup is the newest craze among the cosmetic conscious, but is it really that different from traditional products? How do the various brands differ? How do you know which one is best for you? Let? take a look at some of the mineral basics.

There are several
brands on the market, but their ingredient lists are basically the same. Some commonly used components are micronized titanium dioxide, micronized zinc oxide, iron oxide, silk mica, hydrated silica.

Micronized titanium dioxide is a non-chemical ingredient of commonly used sun-block products. The crystalline structure of this while mineral naturally reflects and defuses sunlight, protecting your skin from harmful rays. Light-reflecting micronized zinc oxide works in combination with the micronized titanium dioxide to defend your face from both UVA and UVB rays.

Iron oxide is responsible for the hue of cosmetics. It naturally occurs in various shades of red, orange and yellow that are blended into flesh tones for foundations. Silk mica and hydrated silica are basically softeners. Silk Mica gives the makeup a softer, smoother
texture on your skin, and the silica makes it less dusty and messy. Other ingredients may be added for their vitamin content or for their extra skin-softening and complexion-toning properties.

Most brands boast their lack of talc and other fillers that can be harmful to skin. The absence of dyes and perfumes are also a selling point to people with sensitive or allergy-prone skin. Those who suffer with acne may want to try mineral makeup for its purity. Because minerals are organic, hypoallergenic and oil free, they won? clog pores like traditional cosmetics.

Mineral-based foundations allow for vast variation in coverage level, based on the application technique. Just a simple dusting, moving the brush in a small, circular motion will do the trick if you want sheer coverage. For more opaque coverage, use a damp sponge to layer the powder similar to how you? use a liquid foundation. But unlike liquid, mineral powder can be layered without turning into a thick, pasty, pore-clogging mask.

Mineral makeup is often a staple of high-end department or specialty stores, and usually has the price to match, with foundations commonly in the $25 range. Some less expensive drugstore brands, like Neutrogena and Physician? Formula are developing their own mineral lines to cater to the more budget conscious consumer, with prices from $9-$12.

+Some brands market themselves as being the better choice for a specific skin type. For instance, Mineralogie says their product is best option for naturally oily skin because it doesn?€t contain the minerals that give other brands their shimmer. As with most things, it comes down to a matter of personal taste.

So far, the company has been featured on at least 79 magazines and two videos. The site also lists a host of charity-related events they have sponsored or participated in, and there's sure to be more to come.

Makeover Magic,Article

Before you start your makeover, gather these 10 items: concealer, foundation, powder, base and accent eye shadows, eyeliner, brow pencil or powder, blush, mascara, lip liner, and lipstick.

Makeover Magic
TIP: Concealer hides or covers up any skin imperfections like under eye circles and blemishes. You should choose a shade that's slightly lighter than the skin tone.
APPLICATION:
Start with a small amount, adding more as needed. Starting at the inner corner of the eye, pull outward and upward on the color with a sponge, being careful not to pull or tug on the skin. For blemishes dab on blemish with even pressure.

TIP: Foundation evens out skin tones, protects skin from the environment, and provides a smooth base for other makeup products. Match the skin tone as closely as possible using the edge of the jaw line. Be careful not to apply too much; too much can look unnatural.
APPLICATION:
Apply to the forehead, nose, cheeks and chin. Then using a sponge gently blend down until the foundation becomes invisible. Never apply below the jaw line. After a few minutes, check to see if the foundation turns colors, if it does you will need to use a different shade or color.

TIP: Powder helps set makeup, reduce shine, and blends for a finished look. Select a slightly lighter shade than the foundation.
APPLICATION:
Using a puff or powder brush, gently dip into the powder. Give it a tap to shake off any excess. Then with a light dusting action apply across the forehead, down the nose, across the cheeks and down to the chin.

TIP: Eye shadow
accents and defines the shape of the eye. The base eye shadow highlights
and the accent eye shadow adds depth, drama and definition. Choose a light-to-medium color to highlight and a medium-to-dark to accent. Always choose a shade in the same color family as the blush and lip color.
APPLICATION:
Apply the base eye shadow to the entire eyelid, starting at the lash line and going all the way up to the brow bone. Then apply the accent eye shadow in the center of the eye starting at the lash line and going up to the brow bone.

TIP: Eye Liner
enhances the shape of the eyes making them appear larger, intensifies natural
eye color, and boosts mascara making eyes look bigger. Base selection on preferred shade and blend ability.
APPLICATION:
Line the upper eyelid 2/3 of the way from the inner eye as close to the lashes as possible, then line the lower eyelid 1/3 of the way from the outer eye as close to the lashes as possible. Don't line the entire eye because it can make the eye look smaller.

TIP: Your eye brows
frame your eyes, create an expression for your face and define and set
the shape of the brows. Select a shade of brow pencil that matches or is slightly darker than your natural brow. The best length for the brows is to begin just above the inner corner of the eye and extend slightly past the outer corner.
APPLICATION:
Use soft feathery strokes to fill in color; starting at the inner corner and going to the outer corner. Comb or brush the upper part of the brow for a lift.

TIP: Blush adds color and glow
to the face. Select from the same color family as the lip
color and eye shadow. Intensity (light, medium, or dark) should match skin tone; a common error is to go too dark.
APPLICATION:
Starting at the center of the cheek; brush outward and upward toward the hairline right above the ear. Use a back and forth motion to make sure you blend it evenly.

TIP: Mascara
makes lashes appear longer, thicker, and darker. It also makes eyes look wider
and more open. Select mascara based on the benefits and features such as all-purpose, thickening, or waterproof. Black works for most skin tones.
APPLICATION:
Hold the wand in a vertical position and color the ends of the lashes with a back and forth motion like a windshield wiper. Then turn the wand to the horizontal position and sweep upward on the upper lashes. Wiggle the brush back and forth to completely cover the lashes with color. Let dry and reapply. It is better to apply lots of thin coats rather than one thick one. Only apply 1 coat to lower lashes. Don't pump mascara; it makes it dry out faster.

TIP: Lip liner defines the shape of the lip and prevents lipstick from feathering or bleeding. Select lip liner based on ease of application, how long it lasts, and shade or color family.
APPLICATION:
To apply draw a smooth line from the center of the upper lip to the corner and repeat on the other side. Then draw a smooth line from corner to corner of the bottom lip. You should have at least one lip liner for each lipstick color family you select.

TIP: Lipstick
changes your look and your mood dramatically. It colors, defines, shapes and
protects lips and balances the face and brings out the eyes. Select lipstick based on: shade, coverage, and finish. Lipstick can change your whole attitude and your expression.
APPLICATION:
Apply lipstick inside the lip liner either directly from the lipstick or with a lip brush.
For long lasting wear blot lips with a tissue and apply a light dusting of powder and then reapply lipstick.

With practice you can put your best face forward in only 5 minutes.
Additional tips to remember:
For a more natural look, use shades equal to intensity and undertone, use matte shades instead of glimmer and apply less rather than more.

For a dramatic look, use deeper or darker shades, use shimmer shades and apply more.
To emphasize a specific feature, select a shade one intensity lighter or darker. When you finish the makeover take a step back and look at the full picture. Then you can make adjustments as necessary.

Practice on someone you feel comfortable with like a friend or family member.

Choosing the Right Makeup Colors for You,.Article

Choosing the Right Makeup Colors for You...Corals and reds are also considered neutral, skin have cool, warm, or neutral

Choosing the Right Makeup Colors for You

What color family is right for you? Does your skin have cool, warm, or neutral undertones? Let us explore color together......
You have cool undertones if:
Your skin is: pink, rosy, beige, or brown.
Your hair is: a soft shade of brown or blonde, or dark brown or black.
And your eyes are: blue, gray, or black-brown.
You have warm undertones if:
Your skin is: golden or olive.
Your hair is: golden or red.
And your eyes are: green or brown.

You have neutral undertones if you have a balance between warm and cool undertones. Most women have neutral undertones.

If you have cool undertones, then you should choose your eye shadow, blush, and lip colors from the cool color family. The cool color family is your pinks and roses and also includes fuchsias, violets, lavenders, grapes, cherries and wines. Pinks and roses are good for cool to neutral skin tones.

If you have neutral undertones, then you should choose your eye shadow, blush, and lip colors from one of the neutral color families. Mauves and berries are considered neutral. Mauves and berries also include: mauves, berries, plums, burgundies, lilacs, and cranberries. Mauves and berries are good for cool to neutral skin tones but leans more toward neutral.

Corals and reds are also considered neutral. Corals and reds include: peaches, corals, oranges, brownish reds, tawnies, apricots, and all shades of red except for the bluish reds, which are considered cool. Corals and reds are good for neutral to warm skin tones but leans more toward the neutral.

If you have warm undertones, then you should choose your colors from the warm color family. The beiges and browns are considered warm colors and includes: browns, bronzes, golds, mochas, taupes and spices. Beiges and browns are good for warm to neutral skin tones.

Now that you know more about skin undertones, you now have the knowledge to pick the perfect makeup color for your skin. But by all means, if you have cool undertones but are drawn to the warmer colors don’t think this is written in stone. Have fun and experiment with your new colors. Choose lighter or darker shades of your colors to spice things up a bit.

7 Steps to Great Makeup...Article

7 Steps to Great Makeup**Avoid wearing too much..Apply lip liner ..Appropriate makeup..Too little or no makeup**That means avoiding colours that clash..Hair color**makeup looking fresh..

7 Steps to Great Makeup
Makeup is meant to enhance features not bring negative attention to you. That's what wearing too much makeup will do; it will bring you unwanted attention. Here are some good tips for great makeup.
1. Avoid wearing too much
Makeup is meant to enhance features not bring negative attention to you. That's what wearing too much makeup will do; it will bring you unwanted attention. Don't wear too much of anything such as:
i) Eyeliner: dark, thick eyeliner will make you look overdone and will ruin the rest of your makeup.
ii) Mascara: too much mascara looks fake and will flake. It looks especially bad if worn with thick eyeliner or dark blue eye eye shadow.
iii) Foundation: Make sure your foundation is the same color as your skin. Foundation is meant to protect and give the face a smooth look. The magic word is blend.
iv) Powder:The same holds true for powder - not too much. Also, be sure to blend your makeup so there are no obvious lineS
2. Lips
Apply lip liner to completely cover the lips, add color and your lipstick will stay on much longer. Make sure your lip liner doesn't show. Also, your lip color should match your skin tone; wear cool colors if you have cool coloring and warm colors if you have warm coloring. If you want to make your lips look smaller, keep your liner on the inside of your lips. However, if you decide to make your lips look larger, going outside the natural outline of you lips is a mistake. This can look quite messy and unnatural.
3. Appropriate makeup
Wear makeup that is appropriate for the occasion. If you are going to the beach you shouldn't wear the same or as much makeup as you would if you were going dancing. Also, when you are in daylight your makeup should be a lighter than when you are out for the evening.
4. Too little or no makeup
Some women don't wear makeup because they are not sure how to use it and are afraid of being overdone. If you are unsure, start will light colours in your shade. Start slowly and add one product at a time. Maybe start with foundation, add mascara, blush or lipstick. If you are not used to wearing makeup, using a lot a first may be a little too much for you, so start slowly. The bottom line is a little is better than none. If you are still unsure seek professional advice.
5. Overall look
When your makeup is completed it should look natural. That means avoiding colours that clash. If you have dark skin and hair you will look better in darker shades; light colours will make you look washed out. If your hair and skin tone are light, light colours will look better on you. Dark makeup will make you look older and harsh. If you have oily skin, first use oil control moisturizer and foundation. Then be sure to wear loose powder, keeping pressed powder with you for touch ups.
6. Hair color
Your hair color should also be in harmony with your skin. If you have dark hair and you want to add color, keep it close to the same shade. If you have light hair, use light colors. As you age your skin will lighten, so should your hair color. One last thing about hair color - if you do color you hair be sure you keep it up, don't let your roots show.
7. One last thing
Keep makeup looking fresh all day by doing regular touch ups. Don't let your makeup fade or crease. Smile!!!

A Quick Primer On Mineral Makeup And Health,Article

Women are most often fully fluent when it comes to which shades and colors make them look their best. However,

A Quick Primer On Mineral Makeup And Health

They are not so knowledgeable about which cosmetic and beauty products are best for their health. Mineral makeup addresses both fashion desires and safety concerns. Organic cosmetic products do not necessitate the sacrifice of that perfect look.

With the ease of purchasing cosmetics online a mineral makeup kit can be yours virtually overnight. Mineral makeup is desirable for both what it does and does not have. What it does possess are loose minerals ideally suited to extended wear sessions. Mineral makeup also often contains zinc oxide in its standard form. This provides for substantial protection from UV rays helping protect your skin from premature wrinkles.

It is important to verify that your product contains zinc oxide only in its standard form and not as a micronized product. Micronized zinc oxide creates appreciable health concerns. Also to be avoided are parabens, propylene glycol and aluminum hydrosulphate. Mineral makeup is also alcohol free removing a common drying source found in many over the counter cosmetic products.

The wonder of the Internet now allows you to buy cosmetics online. Previously, many had to travel a far distance to procure the right organic mineral makeup. Cosmetic and beauty products of all varieties can be researched, priced and bought all without leaving the comfort of your own home. From organic toothpaste to high end mineral makeup it is now all literally at your fingertips. When taking current gas prices into the equation the thought of running around town assembling that makeup kit becomes even more unthinkable.

Searching for cosmetics online also allows for discovery of many niche brands you'd never otherwise come across. There are small brands which create labors of love but do not have the marketing reach to be seen on the shelves of your local department store. The ability to buy cosmetics online opens up this additional universe of possibilities to help achieve that perfect look.
You may not have considered some of the larger ramifications of chemical based personal products use. Literally tons of chemicals residing in these products end up in the environment after being washed off our bodies. Mother nature would far prefer you avoided these products and select mineral make up. If you don't know what is in your makeup the first step is to find out. You might be surprised to find a list of ingredients containing many known irritants and drying agents. Armed with the right information, you can ensure both beauty and health.

Discover The Benefits Of Mineral Cosmetics

Discover The Benefits Of Mineral Cosmetics ...powder mineral makeup, loose minerals ,Mineral cosmetics often contain zinc oxide .....

Discover The Benefits Of Mineral Cosmetics
Many of you remember the old game "animal, vegetable or mineral". When it comes to cosmetics the answer is yes, yes and yes. One would be surprised at the range of things which
can make their way into your makeup. In terms of makeup the correct answer for you is mineral cosmetics. Transitioning to a mineral makeup kit provides multiple benefits.

Mineral cosmetics serve to both protect and beautify your skin. These salicylate free cosmetics also exclude other commonly found irritants and allergens like bismuth oxychloride, carmines, and superfluous dyes. Powder mineral make up also does not contain talc. Your mineral makeup kit will transition you to a wholesome, naturally beautiful face.

The powder mineral makeup in your mineral makeup kit employs loose
minerals which extend the amount of time your face looks freshly done. Mineral cosmetics last longer than comparable chemically composed competitors. From mineral makeup eyeshadow to lip gloss there is no sacrifice of health to achieve beauty.

Mineral cosmetics often contain zinc oxide which provides sun protection factor (SPF) of over 25. Harsh effects from overexposure to ultraviolet rays cannot be overcome by even the best cover ups. Most important to verify is that your mineral cosmetics contain zinc oxide only in its standard form. Many products contain micronized zinc oxide which may entail adverse health effects.

There is both good wet and powder mineral makeup. The same level of variety and depth of selection are available while making safe, healthy choices. Many times, what goes on your face ends up on the skin of the loved ones around you. Transitioning to organic cosmetics could prove to be an important step in identifying elusive triggers for your child's allergies. +In terms of convenience, natural cosmetics are no longer hard to find. It used to be many would have to drive miles to a small specialty store to secure the organic brand of their preference. The wonders of technology have no solved that problem. A diverse array of safe products are now available with only a few clicks of the mouse.

Having a mineral make up kit also has larger implications and makes a greater general
statement. Many women sacrifice environmental concerns while in pursuit of beauty. Others realize the two concerns are not mutually exclusive. Organically based cosmetics do not add to the steady stream of chemicals making their way into our wilderness and water supply. The reasons are evident why mineral cosmetics are the clear choice. Safe for both you and your family, they allow for both a brilliant look as well as a small contribution to cleaning up the planet.

Beauty More Than Skin Deep With Chemical Free Cosmetics,Article

Beauty More Than Skin Deep With Chemical Free Cosmetics...A Venerable Tradition**Why Chemical Free Cosmetics...Cost..

B
eauty More Than Skin Deep With Chemical Free Cosmetics
When you choose chemical free cosmetics, you do something good not only for yourself, but for the planet as well. Mineral makeup, vegetable-based cosmetic and beauty products and other natural cosmetic products are an excellent way to avoid poisoning yourself and the planet. In addition, such mineral-based chemical free cosmetics are also cruelty-free – no animal testing is done!
A Venerable Tradition
Makeup is nothing new; women and men have been adorning themselves with such decorative coloring since the time of the Pharaohs in Egypt, and probably since the Stone Age. Mineral cosmetics were possibly the most ancient form of makeup; it is known that Egyptian men and women alike applied a mineral known as ochre in a finely powdered form to their faces as well as a carbonate of called malachite while accentuating their eyes by outlining their eyes with a form of soot known as kohl – which is still used my some women of North Africa and the Middle East.

Today, manufacturers of chemical free cosmetics and other cosmetic and beauty products are very careful in the preparation of their wares. Some processing practices of the past involved the use of potentially toxic substances, such as lead; some substances once used in mineral makeup have been found to irritate sensitive skin. Today, the best providers of mineral cosmetics and other forms of organic cosmetic products are extremely discriminating about the ingredients they use – your assurance that some cosmetic and beauty products are pure and free of irritants and toxins.
Why Chemical Free Cosmetics
At one time, it may not have mattered so much. Today however, with so many toxic substances in the air, water and food supply, people are increasingly finding their resistance to such poisons strained almost to the breaking point. Using cosmetic products derived from natural, minimally processed mineral and plant sources means one less assault on your bodily systems.

The key word here is “processing.” The materials that are used in many commercially mass-produced cosmetic and beauty products often start out as harmless, natural substances that are not that different from those used in organic mineral makeup. The difference, just as with food, is processing which removes many desirable substances and adds many others that we would be better off without.
Cost
As you might imagine, chemical free cosmetics are more expensive than commercially produced cosmetic products. However, in terms of your health and that of the planet, the purchase and use of chemical free cosmetics is an incredible investment – one that will pay off well for future generations.

Mineral Makeup Tips

Do you use any mineral makeup? What brand do you like the best and why? OK, let's talking mainly about the foundation powders.

Mineral Makeup Tips

Mary Kay loose powder. Ive been used it. It supposed to be better for the skin. (I have very sensitive skin.) When I put it on, my face started itching a little, but it went away after 5 minutes or so. It's possibly because of the brush I used Or the minerals. Also, my face felt stiff, like it was too dry.

Burts Bees Concealer. Its ingredients are castor oil, sunflower oil, beeswax, vitamin E, candelila wax, cucumber extract, rosemary extract, and minerals for the color. It is a cream. You could dot it where you need it.

Everyday Minerals. It covers great and last almost the whole day and not itch at all. The BE would cause to itch a little, only for like 15 seconds. The everyday minerals don't itch at all. They do not have talc. They have different formulations (matte, semi-matte, intense etc), They really kill the shine on my oily skin, and the best part, you could get more product than with BE at a fraction of the price ($8 for the smaller container of foundation which costs $25 for BE. The larger container is $12).

Bare Naturals. It is every bit as good as the Bare Minerals brand and alot cheaper. As far as mineral makeup, it is so fast and easy to use which makes my morning makeup routine better. Also, it doesn't feel greasy or pasty on your skin.

Ada Cosmetics Mineral Makeup. It could makes the skin look beautiful and it's so light that you even would not feel it.

Compare to Bare Minerals and Sheer Cover, it wouldn't been looked awful on your skin, or made you look ashy as if you were going to be buried in a casket or something. :( The idea behind mineral makeup is that its supposed to be 'pure' and good for your skin. But unfortuantely some companies that produce mineral makeup add talc, bismuth or 'fillers' to make the minerals go further. Your mineral makeup should only have a few ingredients. Like Mica, oxides, and sometimes kaoline.

A really neat little trick I learned is that if you mix your minerals with a little bit of your moisturizer, you can make a nice cream foundation for anyone with dry skin who dont like the 'look' of the loose minerals. Another thing Ive learned is to buff like crazy. I read somewhere that its sort of like how most guys will buff and buff and BUFF the wax on a car to get that perfect polished finish. Also apply the minerals lightly, you can go back and add more if you need to. It doesnt take much with minerals

Know the Benefits of Makeup
Cream foundation comes in several forms: the original cream, a lighter mousse version, a heavier stick version, and a "pancake" version, a powder that turns creamy after spraying it with water. There's also a relatively new hybrid called cream to powder foundation (also called dual-finish foundation), which looks like a powder and applies like a cream if you wet it, and then dries to a powder finish.

Mineral Makeup is makeup made from naturally occurring pigments from the earth. It’s
non-comodegenic (non-pore clogging) and so doesn’t irritate the skin or even penetrate it - it’s a perfect solution for sensitive skin and mature skin and a smart, common sense alternative for all of us who want to keep our skin beautiful and problem free. We all are aware by now that the majority of the things put in cosmetic products are at the least unhealthy and with continued exposure, can even be life threatening. So when there’s a better alternative out there, it behooves us to at least check it out.

Colorescience is a mineral makeup and skin treatment all in one. Unlike traditional makeup, Colorescience products have been shown to have a positive effect on the condition of the skin. The Suncanny foundations and the Sunforgettable powders provide full spectrum UVA/UVB protection with zinc and titanium dioxide. The loose mineral pigments are hypoallergenic, purely natural, no additives, talcs, alcohol, dyes, mineral oil, preservatives or perfumes. They are free of traditional ingredients that can irritate the skin or clog the pores. The loose minerals are naturally anti-inflammatory and form a protective barrier over the skin protecting it from environmental pollutants. Not only does Colorescience mineral makeup nourish the skin its mineral components reflect light giving your skin a natural glow.
Titanium dioxide and zinc oxide are two minerals that are a very powerful sun block. At an SPF 20, they can protect your face from damaging UVA, UVB and URA rays. For this reason alone, mineral-based makeup is recommended by dermatologists and plastic surgeons during the healing time after surgery. Mineral makeup actually promotes and speeds up healing time. You also need not buy a separate sun block. This amazing product has the sun block built right in! The benefits that you will get from mineral makeup will really vary according to the brand that you choose.

Many types of mineral makeup do include UV protection, which will help prevent you from
developing skin cancer due to sun exposure. Mineral makeup is also known to be a great choice for women of all skin types. If you have sensitive skin, then there’s a good chance that mineral makeup may be the best option for you. There is no doubt that mineral makeup is certainly worth a try, with the many benefits that it has to offer. If you have not already given some consideration to using mineral makeup, then perhaps you may do so. It can really change the way that you feel about using any other type of makeup. There are other benefits to using organic cosmetics and skin care as well. For example, the less chemicals and artificial products that are contained in your skin care products, the less of a chance you will have an allergic reaction to them. Many people have found that certain cosmetics have triggered asthmatic reactions that are no longer triggered when using organic makeup.

How to Apply Eye Makeup Removers
Eye Makeup - The first way to start looking your best! Everyone knows how important it is for women to look good, and eye makeup is one way to start looking your best. It is important to know how to apply it, like eyeliner, mascara eye makeup and eye shadow. The eye makeup color is just as important as the makeup itself. A lot of woman struggle when trying to apply makeup.

That is why eye makeup tips are offered in a variety of magazines. Finding the perfect eye makeup techniques may be a difficult task but don't worry, there is a style for everyone!

For removing eye shadow, use special eye make up remover, and apply it delicately with circular moves.

The excess of make up remover must be cleaned with a cotton disk – starting from the inside corner towards the outside corner, without applying any pressure on it.

Mascara also removes with a cotton disk and a bit of make up remover. Just close your eyes and wipe your lids starting up.

With make up remover you can also clean the inferior margin and the inside corner

Pre-moistened makeup remover pads keep things simple for you. They're packaged in small jars and require absolutely no work on your part. Simply slide the pad over your eye. In a swipe or two, everything should be gone.

Cleaning milks are ideal for individuals with dry, sensitive skin. Milk-based eye makeup removers can be thick and creamy or thin and liquid-like. Choose the one that feels most soothing and removes makeup most effectively.

An eye makeup remover gel is usually thick, cool and comforting (though perhaps less so than milks). Oily-skinned individuals love gels in all forms; they're great for removing makeup and soothing a slick face.

The pads or wipes is an eye makeup remover that is best from normal to dry skin. It is because these eye makeup removers are very neat and portable, which is perfect for traveling or if you are in a hurry.

Another type of eye makeup remover that you can use is the cream, which is best for sensitive and/or dry skin since it is normally strong enough in removing lipstick and foundation aside from the eye makeup. This type of makeup remover is even a great-time saver that leaves your skin moisturized and soft.

Cleansing water is a type of eye makeup remover that is best for oily or acne-prone skin. It is also a water-based eye makeup remover that is safe and perfect for those who prefer light products. However this type of eye makeup remover does not remove waterproof liquid eyeliner or mascara. It has the blending of cucumber to other plant-based emollients.

Always remove eye makeup thoroughly before going to bed. This will keep lashes healthier and prevent any mascara from getting into your eyes during the night. There are many readymade eye make up removers available in the market for this purpose. They come in several forms ranging from eye lotions to eye pads. While removing the mascara, avoid the color from going onto the delicate area below the bottom lashes. Roll a cotton bud dipped in a cosmetic cleanser over the lashes, taking the mascara down onto the tissue. Repeat till all the mascara is gone. Warm olive oil serves the purpose of removing the eye make up as well as conditioning the lashes. Other popular alternatives for removal of eye make up are baby shampoo, Vaseline and witch hazel.
